Set up Claude Code
Connect Claude Code on your Mac to Bunplan by pasting the setup Bunplan copies for you.
Claude Code connects to Bunplan as a local MCP server. The setup already holds the right location on your Mac, so there's nothing to look up.

- Bunplan and Claude Code are both installed on this Mac.
- You have Bunplan Plus, or the free trial.
Add Bunplan to Claude Code
- Open Bunplan, choose Bunplan → Settings, and click Assistants.
- Under Access, choose Read only or Read & write. See Access and Plus.
- Click Copy setup for other apps. Bunplan says "Setup copied".
- Paste into a text editor. The last line is the command for Claude Code. It starts with
claude mcp addand names the serverbunplan. - Copy that line, paste it into Terminal, and press Return.
Try it
Start Claude Code and ask:
- "What's on my plan today in Bunplan?"
- "Add three tasks for my essay to Bunplan, one a day from tomorrow."
To check the connection, type /mcp in Claude Code. Bunplan is listed as bunplan.
Change or remove access
- To change what Claude Code may do, choose another access level in Bunplan → Settings → Assistants. It applies from the next request.
- To stop it for now, choose Off.
- To remove Bunplan from Claude Code, run
